Paperwork
Marketing for your group
Communications programs and plans
Meeting venue locations
Technology (websites, email lists)
Charter Partner
Each Pack, Troop, and Crew needs a charter partner - Scouting West is available to fulfill this role.
Assist with adult leadership recruitment, development, and placement
Help find meeting and event venues
Acts as a liaison between groups and the district
Coordinates with other programs in area
Aids in recruitment
Can accept tax-deductible donations on your behalf
Accounting and bank account assistance

Sustainability
Expanding on the earth-friendly principles of Leave No Trace, Scouting West encourages, supports, and funds sustainability efforts in Scouting.
Examples include:
Elimination of single-use dishware during campouts and meetings
Recycling packaging materials from campouts and meetings
Composting food scraps from campouts and meetings
Creation of a uniform “closet” with re-used uniform shirts and patches
